The NPF Youth Wing, Zunheboto Division, on Tuesday organised a free medical camp-cum-Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) awareness and registration programme at the Town Hall in Zunheboto as part of a statewide health outreach initiative.
The programme was organised under the directives of the NPF Central Youth Wing headquarters, Kohima, as part of the statewide medical camp-cum-CMHIS awareness and registration drive being conducted across Nagaland from August 1 to 10.

The camp, led by NPF Youth Wing Zunheboto Division president Dennis P Awomi, witnessed the participation of residents from Zunheboto town and neighbouring villages.
A medical team deputed by the Chief Medical Officer's (CMO) Office, Zunheboto, comprising six doctors, four staff nurses and two laboratory technicians, provided medical consultations and screening services during the camp.
A total of 94 patients were registered at the camp, including 19 who underwent tuberculosis (TB) screening and eight who availed dental care services.
In addition, 63 individuals were enrolled under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme during the awareness and registration drive.

The programme was attended by Chief Medical Officer Dr G Viholi Sema, Medical Superintendent of HMDH Zunheboto Dr Kheholi, councillors of the Zunheboto Town Council, officials of the NPF Zunheboto Division led by its president Khehoshe H Yeptho and general secretary, as well as office bearers from the 35 A/C Zunheboto.
