Participants during the Lead Like Jesus Encounter hosted by ABAM.
IMPUR, APRIL 2 (MExN): The Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Youth Ministry hosted the ‘Lead Like Jesus’ (LLJ) Encounter for its staff, held from April 1 to 2 in Impur. A total of 24 ABAM staff members participated in the two-day program.
The session was facilitated by Shilula Imchen, Associate Pastor for Women at Mokokchung Town Ao Baptist Arogo; Toshi Sanglir, Secretary of ABAM Youth Ministry; and Teka Imchen, Coordinator of ABAM Youth Ministry.
In a world driven by constant human creativity and a pull towards worldly desires, leaders in any capacity have a crucial role in resisting these influences and protecting the integrity of the believers. By recognizing that leadership is a form of influence, it becomes clear that only servant leadership can provide valuable insights into positively impacting others, the press release from ABAM’s Officiating Executive Secretary, Rev. L Yapang Mollier, noted.
With this understanding of leadership in mind, the ‘Lead Like Jesus’ Encounter was designed to inspire ABAM staff to embrace the principles of "Servant Leadership."
This event not only offered a chance for the attendees to reflect on their leadership styles but also served as a time of renewal, urging them to strengthen their vision and uphold values in both their personal and professional lives, the press release added.
