Pungro, July 7 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pungro, Hotolu Sema, has imposed partial restrictions on vehicular movement along the New Vongti–Moya road from July 6 to 20 to facilitate earth-cutting and rock-cutting works on the stretch.
According to an official notification, vehicular movement will remain restricted daily from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm during the period. Members of the public have been advised to plan their travel accordingly to minimise inconvenience.
As per the State DIPR, the notification stated that contractors must ensure that medical emergencies and the movement of government officials on official duty are not obstructed during the execution of the road works.
