Kohima, June 18 (MExN): A consultative meeting between the Land Resources Department and consultants from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was held at the official residence of Advisor for Land Resources, G Ikuto Zhimomi, in Kohima on June 16.
According to a press release from the Advisor's Media Cell, the meeting reviewed ongoing land resource initiatives, shared technical assessments and discussed proposed interventions aimed at strengthening sustainable land management and climate-resilient agriculture in Nagaland.
During the meeting, Zhimomi reiterated the Department's commitment to participatory planning and the effective implementation of ADB-supported projects.
He emphasised the need for close coordination among stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes.
The ADB consultants also outlined the next steps, capacity-building measures and timelines for project activities. Both sides agreed to continue regular consultations to facilitate the successful rollout of the projects, the release stated.
