KOHIMA, march 31 (MExN): The Nagaland Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services held a farewell program Monday honoring retiring Director Dr. Achila Ao, Additional Director Dr. N. Mhonchan Shitiri, Electrician Lanunungsang and Head Driver Khukiye.
The event took place at the Directorate Conference Hall in Kohima and was chaired by Joint Director Dr. Imomanen Tzudir. Incoming Head of Department, Additional Director Dr. B.M. Sunep, spoke on behalf of the directorate, while the department’s registrar offered remarks representing the ministerial staff.
Nagaland Veterinarian Association President Dr. Zubemo Humtsoe presented Certificates of Appreciation to the retiring officials and spoke on behalf of the association. Commissioner and Secretary Vikeyie Kenya, IAS, delivered the farewell address, recognizing their dedicated service.
Each of the retiring officers gave farewell remarks, expressing gratitude and reflections on their tenure. The program concluded with a mass prayer.
