MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 31 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on Saturday directed KC Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. to immediately halt ongoing construction work at the Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital site in Mokokchung, citing the absence of inspection and clearance by the designated evaluation team.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the student body said that despite the inspection being pending, construction activities were continuing at the site. “Until and unless the evaluation team conducts a thorough inspection and provides official clearance, all construction activities must be halted immediately from today, i.e. May 31, 2025, and remain suspended until further notice,” the AKM stated.
The organisation said the directive was being issued in the interest of transparency, accountability, and to ensure that infrastructural standards and guidelines are met.
Urging the construction firm to cooperate, the AKM said, “KC Infra Projects Pvt. Ltd. must demonstrate responsibility by adhering to this directive without delay. Failure to comply will compel the Ao Students’ Conference to initiate further necessary actions.”
