MOKOKCHUNG, APRIL 9 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has expressed deep sorrow and extended its heartfelt condolences on the sudden demise of Prof A Lanunungsang Ao, a distinguished sociologist, former Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University, Meriema, and former Chairman of the Ao Senden Literature Board (ASLB).
In a condolence message, the AKM described Prof Lanunungsang as not only an accomplished academician but also a humble, patriotic, well-cultured individual, whose contributions to society were immense. His untimely passing has created a significant void within the community, particularly among the youth, who considered him a noble guide and a strong pillar of support.
The AKM further expressed that the loss of such a revered figure has left them at a loss for words. It conveyed deepest sympathies to the bereaved family, praying for strength and comfort during this difficult time.
