Dimapur, Jun 10 (MExN): The Ao Senden has strongly condemned the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl in Dimapur and called for speedy legal action against those accused in the case.
In a statement, the organisation described the alleged crime as a reprehensible act against a vulnerable child and said there can be no place in society for such conduct.
The Ao Senden urged law enforcement agencies to ensure a swift investigation and exemplary punishment for all those found guilty in accordance with the law, irrespective of their status or position.
Expressing solidarity with the minor survivor and her family, the organisation conveyed its prayers for her recovery and expressed hope that the incident would not define her future, wishing her strength and a brighter life ahead.
