DIMAPUR, JUNE 6 (MExN): One Assam Rifles personnel was reportedly found dead with stab wounds in the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC & S), Shokhuvi, Chümoukedima.
The deceased was identified as Tsalichum Sangtam, of the 12 Assam Rifles. According to official sources, Sangtam’s body was discovered outside the AR Composite Hospital, located in the ARTC&S, sometime around midnight, June 5.
Authorities were alerted soon after the discovery, and police have begun an inquiry. No suspects have been identified at this time.
