KOHIMA, AUGUST 16 (MExN): The jersey and track suit of ASU Seniors’ FC were launched here on Saturday ahead of the 25th anniversary edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025. The launch programme was held at ASU Morung ki, Kohima, with Kohima District Football Association president and former ASU sports secretary Mhasimhalie Mathew Yhome formally unveiling the kits.
Addressing the gathering, Yhome called upon members to maintain unity for a healthy and progressive society. The programme was chaired by Zekuseto Natso, president of Jakhama Union Kohima and former ASU vice president. Invocation was pronounced by Pelesavi Rürhie, president of Western Angami Youth Organisation and former ASU vice president.
The ceremonial launch was led by Vizokho Zashümo, Tribunal ASU and former ASU president. A special song was presented by Neilaü Thaprü, singer-songwriter and former ASU women affairs secretary, while Sedeneikho Shosahie, former ASU vice president, delivered the vote of thanks.
