WOKHA, MARCH 30 (MExN): The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bailey Baptist College, Wokha, on Wednesday organized a one-day workshop on assessment and accreditation, featuring Dr. Watijungshi Jamir, retired additional director of higher education, Government of Nagaland, as the resource person.
The workshop included two sessions moderated by acting principal T. Penthungo Lotha and Leonard Mozhui, head of the English department. The first session provided an introduction to assessment and accreditation, while the second focused on the Quality Indicator Framework (QIF) as a benchmark for institutional evaluation.
Dr. Apeni Lotha, president of the governing body, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the role of accreditation in maintaining academic excellence. A special musical presentation was given by Dr. N. Yanpothung Ezung, head of the sociology department.
In the closing session, Leonard Mozhui summarized the discussions, followed by a vote of thanks from vice principal Achumbeni Humtsoe, who acknowledged the contributions of the resource person, organizers, and participants.
