Bank of Baroda extends support to TNT Centre in Aizawl

Aizawl, October 14 (MExN): Bank of Baroda has extended support to the Thutak Nunpuitu Team (TNT) Centre at Muanna Veng, Aizawl, Mizoram, reaffirming its commitment to corporate social responsibility and the welfare of disadvantaged communities.

The TNT Centre is a major rehabilitation facility in Mizoram providing care and support to orphans, persons with disabilities and persons with substance use disorders. The Bank provided essential food supplies to meet the centre's daily kitchen requirements.

The supplies were received by R Malsawmtluanga, General Secretary, TNT, in the presence of Shiba Pada Nayak, General Manager & Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda, Northeastern States Zone, and Diwakar Jha, Deputy General Manager & Regional Head, Bank of Baroda, Guwahati Region, along with TNT volunteers and Bank staff.

Lal Singh, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, who visited the centre, said, “Supporting the vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of society is an important aspect of our commitment to inclusive growth. Organisations such as TNT play a meaningful role in providing care, rehabilitation and support to those who need it most.”
