A boy availing the medical service during the Block Health Mela held at Angphang village, Aboi block on March 26.
Mon, March 27 (MExN): District Health Society, Mon organised Block Health Mela at Angphang village, Aboi block on March 26 providing free medicines, free health check-ups and information on Government health programmes and services.
The medical team included Dr Wungyong Konyak DPO (RCH&UIP); Dr Chimang Paul, Pedeatrician DH;Dr Yingngam Gynaecologist DH; Dr Wanmei Dentist UPHC; Dr Nyamnyei MO DH; Dr Chingyen MO DH; and Dr Hangsha MO Aboi CHC, IEC team, District Account Assistant and Block Programme Management Unit (BPMU) along with four nurses, one ophthalmic assistant, one pharmacist; Mobile ICTC and NCD.
Services like PMJAY card creation and ABHA ID creation were also made available, Leeyan Chemshy, Media officer, NHM informed in a press release.
A total of 500 OPD were registered, with 110 gynaecological cases, 70 pediatric cases, 111 ophthalmology, 55 dental of which 40 extraction done, voluntary HIV testing 27, TB sputum collection 21, PMJAY card production 43, ABHA ID generation 54 and the remaining cases were medicine/general.
