Miraculum Society Nagaland, in collaboration with the Eastern Sümi Students’ Union (ESSU), on Wednesday formally launched a 28-day free tuition programme for Class 10 students at Aghunato, aimed at supporting candidates preparing for the forthcoming HSLC examination.
The initiative seeks to enhance students’ academic performance while simultaneously creating avenues for unemployed youth graduates to actively engage in educational support activities. The tuition classes are scheduled to commence from January 20.

Speaking at the launch programme, Vikuonuo Sachü, Founder of Miraculum Society Nagaland, highlighted the critical role of education and the importance of supplementary tuition in reinforcing students’ learning beyond the formal school curriculum. Sachü stated that such initiatives play a vital role in ensuring equal learning opportunities, particularly for students in rural and underserved areas.
Representatives of the ESSU assured their full cooperation and support to the programme, acknowledging its positive impact on students’ welfare as well as its contribution towards youth empowerment through meaningful engagement.

Students expressed keen interest and enthusiasm in participating in the programme. Miss Sachü further informed that the Aghunato tuition programme is being implemented as a pilot project and would be reviewed for possible continuation and expansion in the coming years.
Speaking to The Morung Express, Sachü informed that the project is specifically for the students of the Government Higher Secondary School, Aghunato, adding that a total of 39 students will avail the free tuition.

Likewise, she informed that the coaching will be conducted every morning and evening as per the routine of the examination, along with the convenience of the school.
At the same time, she disclosed that a total of 4 teaching staff will take charge during the 28-days period of the coaching while adding that two young individuals (graduates) from Aghunato forms a part of the teaching staff.
