Kohima, August 2 (MExN): The Officers' Hill (Thegabakha) Colony Council has temporarily closed the Box Cutting road within the colony near the PWD Junction in Kohima due to severe potholes and unsafe road conditions.
In a public notice, the council advised residents and commuters to avoid using the route until further notice in the interest of public safety.
The council said the road would remain closed until the condition improves or necessary repairs are undertaken.
The development comes a day after The Morung Express highlighted the deteriorating condition of the road in its August 2 edition.
