Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru and his daughter Prime Minister Indira and their bloodline are tyrant to the Nagas and use brute force against the Nagas and tens of thousands Nagas were mowed down. Today Indira daughter-in law, Italian born Sonia and her son Rahul had been provoking the state of Manipur to prevent the Nagas coming together under one political territory. Their provocative statements are recorded in every Manipur assembly and Indian parliamentary election campaigns in the Imphal valley.
Abrogation of Ceasefire in Manipur: whoever is responsible of the recent bomb blasts, the demand of abrogation of Indo-Naga(IN) Cease Fire(CF) by the Chief Minister of Manipur, some political parties and a civil organization is short-sightedness, political immaturity and emotional statements. Abrogation of CF is, to commence use of force, torture and hunt the Naga undergrounds of Manipur. This arm operation was experienced till 1977. This challenge by Naga adversaries is however “welcomed” for better or the worst.
Dummy Naga MLAs: if Indo-Naga cease fire ceases, the whole Naga population of Manipur will undergo intense physical and mental sufferings. But also the whole population of Manipur including the security forces will not be at peace either. Who will gain? One thing is certain. The Naga undergrounds will impose their writ and the much talk about No Election, No Solution will be put into practice. The end result will be, the succeeding or aspiring MLAs and the unmandated district councilors have to opt out of the election fray or join with greatest risks. For the general people they have to choose development by MLAs, they will not eat grass for existence.
The ultimate political turmoil out of abrogation of ceasefire in Manipur will be in favour of the Nagas. Because righteousness suffering will bear fruit and prevail over the wrong and evil.
The Naga MLAs in particular are to be “Super” opposition MLAs and the tribal MLAs in general are dummies or timid. They have not the gut to resign nor make public statements against the valley dominated administration and legislative assembly.
It is the talk of every tribal that their 33 percent job quota, government schemes and fund allotments are breached and have heart burns. But nothing Has been heard from the “timid” MLAs.
Farce Manipur District Councils: Then the much trumpeted district councils reconstitution after 20 years was one of the most controversial among the Nagas in particular in recent times. The United Naga Council (UNC) had termed the Manipur District Council Act as a farce and call for boycott. The content of the district council functions was to ultimately made to embrace or bow down to the valley brethren do this, do that. In other words, the DC was to function under the mercy and pleasure of the state government.
Sadar Hill Demand: The hill as well as the valley people are actively watching the political developments and the administration of Manipur. It is interesting to watch how the government will react to the Sadar Hill District demand to a revenue district. It will be a blunder if the period of demand should be the basis of granting a district. But it should weight politically. If period is the basis of demands, Nagas should have Sovereignty decades back.
The Nagas are fighting for its rights with the Government of India (GOI) and not with Government of Manipur (GOM). Then why blame Isak and Muivah (IM) by the Meitei leaders. In fact, people who blame and accuse IM are the very people who are adamant to reason on the move for a common Naga Homeland (Integration) for their selfishness. It is no business of non Nagas to comment on Naga sovereignty or integration or lament of the Naga issue.
The Indo-Naga CF was arrived without surrender or arrests. Let those arrested and big mouthed liberation leaders who are still at large and those who are yet to start peace parleys start the talk with the unpredictable notorious Indian politicians and top tricky Indian Government servants. It can be predicted they will get a big Zero result. This, the people should be aware of.
