CII CEL to hold micro business excellence workshop in Dimapur on Feb 10

Dimapur, February 7 (MExN): The CII Centre of Excellence for Employment and Livelihood (CII CEL) has extended its Micro Business Excellence initiative to Nagaland to support the growth of micro and small enterprises.

As part of the initiative, CII CEL will organise a Business Excellence Workshop for micro and small businesses on February 10, in Dimapur. The workshop will be inaugurated by Chairman of Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (NIDC) Kvulo Lorin and Chairperson of CII Nagaland State Council Hokhuli Sema.

Lorin said Nagaland has over 60,000 registered MSMEs, of which 99 per cent are micro enterprises operating in sectors such as bamboo and wood products, handloom and handicrafts, tourism and hospitality. Sema said the initiative is active in seven states, working with over 2,000 micro enterprises.

The workshop will offer practical inputs on profit and loss management, risk assessment, balance sheet analysis, sales strategy, cash flow optimisation and marketing. Participants will also be eligible to join the Dimapur Entrepreneurs Development Forum, offering one year of free handholding support, mentorship and market linkage facilitation.
