CNSA urges transparency in written exams of police recruitment

Dimapur, January 17 (MExN): The Central Nagaland Students’ Association (CNSA) on January 17 has extended its sincere appreciation to the Government of Nagaland and the Home Department for the successful completion of the physical test phase of the police recruitment process across the State.

In a press release, the association acknowledged the efforts of the authorities concerned in conducting the recruitment process in an orderly manner, ensuring discipline, coordination and the participation of a large number of aspirants. It said such initiatives not only strengthen the police force but also provide much-needed employment opportunities to the youth of the State.

At the same time, the CNSA earnestly urged the Government and the concerned recruitment authorities to uphold the highest standards of fairness, transparency and accountability in the forthcoming written examinations.

It stressed that the remaining stages of the recruitment process must be conducted in a free, fair and impartial manner to maintain public trust and ensure that merit prevails above all else.

The association also acknowledged the Government’s efforts in addressing long-standing vacancies in the Police Department, stating that filling up these posts is a commendable step that has created meaningful employment opportunities for Naga youth.

Reaffirming its commitment, CNSA said it remains dedicated to safeguarding the interests of students and unemployed youth and will continue to engage constructively with the Government for the welfare and progress of Nagaland.
