FC Alianza & Dorians Society win matches
Dimapur September 15 (MExN): Dimapur Football League (DFL) entered second day with CEO, IDAN, Alemtemshi Jamir, IAS as the match patron at DDSC Stadium Dimapur.
Addressing the crowd, the CEO expressed happiness to be in the midst of football enthusiasts and recalled the fervor of World Cup in Nagaland and the benefits thereof especially for football players, it was stated in a press release.
“Earlier days we played merely for the sake of playing. But if the players today focus on their objectives then there is no reason why we cannot be as good as others,” he pondered.
The first match on the second day was played between FC Alianza and P Vizheto ended in a 2-0. Both the two goals from FC Alianza came from Zumzum during the 23th minutes in the first half and in the 49th minutes in the second half.
The second match played between Dorians Society and United V&S ended with the Dorians Society clinching two goals. Ilanger scored the first goal at 10th minutes in the first half while Among scored another goal at the 45th minutes in the second half.
DFL matches will be played every Friday and Saturday, the released said.
