DIMAPUR, APRIL 1 (MExN): Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Puranabazar in Dimapur hosted the Tinker Expo Competition 2025, highlighting student-led innovation and creativity in STEM fields.

Aekant Jain, IPS, Officer-in-Charge of East Police Station, Dimapur, attended the event as chief guest. In his address, he encouraged students to continue innovating and underlined the role of individual contributions to societal development.

The programme was chaired by Imtiwapang, with an invocation by Limawapang and a welcome address from Principal Pipi Gloria Chishi.

Twelve projects were showcased at the expo, reflecting students’ ingenuity in problem-solving and technology. GHSS Puranabazar took both first and second places, while St. Thomas Higher Secondary School secured third.

The school credited Learning Links Foundation and Dell Technologies for their support in establishing and operating the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), which has provided students with hands-on learning in robotics, coding, and other STEM disciplines.

The expo was part of ongoing efforts to nurture innovation and technical skills among young learners.
