Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton has extended greetings to the Ao community on the occasion of Tsüngremmung, wishing them a joyful celebration marked by peace, prosperity and abundance. In a press release, Patton said Tsüngremmung occupies a special place in the cultural heritage of the Ao Nagas. He noted that the festival, rooted in the traditions of their forefathers, marks the completion of hard labour in the fields and serves as a time of thanksgiving to the Almighty for the promise of a bountiful harvest. Patton prayed that the festival would bring harmony, prosperity and goodwill to every household in the Ao community and across Nagaland.
