ENSF emergency federal assembly on June 26

DIMAPUR, JUNE 19 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation has announced that it will convene its 27th Emergency Federal Assembly on June 26, 2026, at Bura Namsang Village from 10 am onwards. The assembly will be hosted by the Phom Students’ Conference.

In a proclamation issued on June 19, ENSF stated that the emergency assembly has been called to deliberate on issues concerning public welfare, education, youth advancement and other societal concerns affecting Eastern Nagaland. It described the assembly as a forum “for wisdom, unity and prudent resolve,” aimed at arriving at collective solutions for the common good.

The federation further stated that it remains “steadfast in its charge to uphold justice, progress and harmony,” and called upon citizens and institutions to extend support for the success of the event.

ENSF has directed all Advisory Board members to attend the assembly without fail. It has also invited the presidents, general secretaries and speakers or chairpersons of all federating units to participate.

The federation has instructed all federating units to reach Bura Namsang Village by 2 pm on June 25, 2026. It has further requested the Bura Namsang Students’ Union to make arrangements for accommodation of all delegates and officials.

In addition, three representatives each from the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation and the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation have been requested to attend the emergency assembly.
