KOHIMA, APRIL 8 (MExN): The District Sports Officer, Kohima, Dziesebenuo Vizo, has announced that entries are now open for the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025. Schools and institutions from Kohima and Tseminyu Districts are invited to participate in the tournament, which will feature two categories: Under-15 (U-15) Boys and Under-17 (U-17) Girls.
According to the official notification, participating teams will be responsible for all expenses, including travel, accommodation, and other related costs. However, a nominal team allowance will be provided by the Directorate, based on the number of teams that express interest in the event.
A detailed roadmap, tournament schedule, and further guidelines will be shared with the participating schools once the acceptance letters are received. The tournament will be structured into six pools, with the top team from each pool advancing to the league-cum-final selection round. The winner of the league will go on to represent Nagaland in the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2025.
