A farewell program was held for outgoing health officers was held at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima on April 1.
KOHIMA, APRIL 2 (MExN): A farewell program for outgoing officers Dr E Motsuthung Patton, Principal Director, DH&FW; Dr Akuo Sorhi, Mission Director, NHM; Dr Abi K Angami, Additional Director; M Ayangla Ao, Deputy Director (Nsg); Santa Bahadur, Vehicle Inspector; and Devi Bahadur Khadka, Driver was held at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima on April 1.
The program was chaired by Dr Sendimeren Aonok, Director (ME&RS), with scripture reading and prayer by Dr. Puse Liegeise, Jt Director. Special songs were presented by Ethungo Ezung, Assistant Drug Controller, and Avilie Sekhose & Friends from NSACS. Dr Mereninla Senlem, incoming Principal Director, delivered the citation and speech on behalf of the Department, followed by speeches from NIDA, district representatives, Directorate officers, and family members.
In their speeches, the outgoing officers and staff expressed gratitude to God for enabling them to serve for 35 years in good health. They also thanked their colleagues for the unwavering support they received throughout their tenure. Additionally, they encouraged everyone to continue supporting and uplifting each other in order to carry forward the positive changes in the Department, maintaining sincerity and dedication.
Anoop Khinchi, Commissioner & Secretary, H&FW, congratulated the outgoing officers for successfully completing their duties with dignity and for their contributions to the Department. He wished them a fulfilling retirement life ahead.
The program concluded with a benediction pronounced by Dr. Khelito Zhimomi, Jt Director.
