To Daddy!
I always thought I got my gift from you-
the gift with which I learnt to treasure a Pen;
How you inspired me to write my first letter!
The memory, with which seasons have passed;
and I’ve held on to this precious art still.
I’ve always admired your dedication-
the sincerity with which you worked in office;
How you did the best justice to punctuality!
You were the officer I took such pride in;
because you never took a government service for granted.
And in your retirement how you still inspire me-
the way with which you were a champion for education;
How you cheer us to never stop learning!
You are the kind good Dads are made of;
Always the Jolly Man at home.
And I want to thank you,
On Fathers’ Day and everyday;
For being absolutely the best!
For teaching us values & making home so much fun;
and above all, for simply being the Greatest Dad!

My Unsung Hero
We may not shower him with praise ,Nor mention his name in song,
And sometimes it seems that we forget .The joy he spreads as he goes along,
But it doesn’t mean that we don’t know . The wonderful role that he has had.
And away down deep in every heart. There’s a place that is just for Dad.....
Oba, You mean so very much to me, And I want you to know
That you are always in my heart, No matter where I go.
You're always giving, always there To help in any way;
The loving things you've done for me, I never could repay.
I can't imagine what I'd do, Without the love you given.
I'll treasure your sweet heart of gold. As long as I shall live.
It’s been 6 years, since you’ve been gone. We still long for you.
How gracious your presence was, And all the places we use to go.
Now that you’ve left us standing here alone, with memories.
Look ! the boy you left behind have become a Man today.
Standing strong against all Odds and to be a complete man.
