Fazl Ali College hosts ‘Love Life Liberty’ Movement

Mokokchung, April 11 (MExN): Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung hosted the ‘Love Life Liberty’ event on April 11. It was attended by students from FAC and neighbouring colleges. 

In the first session, Dr I Wati Imchen, Principal of Fazl Ali College, welcomed the ‘Love Life Liberty’ team to the college. He gave a short speech about the importance of holistic living and the challenges faced by the students in terms of their mental health, and commended the event to be a wonderful endeavour in mitigating these kinds of challenges, encouraging the students to enrich themselves. 

Munguli Sangtam gave an introduction about ‘Love Life Liberty’ movement, which is spearheaded by Tali Angh and his wife Jungtina. With the goal and intention to guide young people towards holistic living, Sangtam emphasized on how the event is carefully curated to promote healing, and life’s purpose that comes from within.

The second session was a panel talk moderated by Munguli Sangtam. The panel consisted of Pastor Kevi, Rongsenchila Longchar, Ayim Longchar, Konaei Shongdok and Temsu Clover. The discussion was centred on their experiences in life, creative endeavours and life stages in relation to the students.

In the third session, Sashi Wapang, IRS spoke briefly on the advancement of technology in the current times, and ventured into giving a snapshot of the economic reality in Nagaland wherein we depend greatly on the centre, the limitations for progress and the reality of unemployment. 

After the macro perspective, he then encouraged the students by emphasizing the importance of “small ordinary efforts that you do everyday” which become valuable in the long run; focussing on practical skills like communication, networking with different people and unlearning the notion of waiting for the perfect time.

In the fourth session, Pastor Visasier Kevichusa delivered a message. The four sessions also had creative performances by Tali Angh, Jungtina, Ranjana, Temsu Clover, Konaei Shongdok and Ayim Longchar.
