Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola observed

Jakhama, August 1 (DIPR): The Archbishop of Imphal and Apostolic Administrator of Kohima Diocese, Most Rev. Dominic Lumon DD, exhorted as the main celebrant in the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola the founder of the Society of Jesus and Patron of the Institution of Jesuit on Saturday, July 30 at Training Institution, Jakhama.
Dominic Lumon while addressing as the main celebrant set the exemplary of St. Ignatius of Loyola of holy, commitment and fidelity life. Lumon also appealed the faithful people to live in a selfless service for others.
Rev. Fr. Gregory Coelho SJ, who also former Regional Superior of North East India and Principal of St. Joseph’s College Jakhama in his welcome address expressed gratitude to the people for their encouragement and support. Coelho also gave thanks to the participants for sharing their love and joy during the special occasion.
The invitees from neighboring villages and special guest from California, United States of America and Kathmandu, Nepal also attended the programme. The other highlights of the programme included Eucharist celebration, cultural programme follow by fellowship meal.
