Kohima, March 25 (MExN): Special Secretary (Home), Limasunep Jamir IPS has notified for awareness of general public and concerned stakeholders that the Department of Fire & Emergency Services will be conducting a series of scheduled test runs of Fire Tenders equipped with sirens to ensure the readiness and effectiveness of the Fire Response System on March 27.
The timings will be between 6:00 am-7:00 am; 9:00 am-11:00 am; and 3:00 pm-5:00 pm. The places include Kohima, Zunheboto, Dimapur, Wokha, Jalukie, Tuensang, Mokokchung, Longleng, Phek, Mon, Pfutsero and Kiphire.
Therefore, the general public and concerned stakeholders have been requested to extend their cooperation and advised that sirens may cause temporary disruptions in the normal activities.
