Kohima, May 9 (MExN): The Annual Monsoon Sale hosted by Kats Collection concluded here after a three-day showcase from May 7 to 9 at the brand’s Kohima store, located at Jasokie Place above Shizo Restaurant at Razhu Point.

The event brought together nine women entrepreneurs from across Nagaland, marking the fifth consecutive year of the much-anticipated annual sale. The initiative highlighted the growing spirit of women-led entrepreneurship, creativity, and collaboration in the state’s fashion and lifestyle sector, the organisers said.

The exhibition featured an eclectic collection of fashion wear, handcrafted accessories, curated vintage pieces, and lifestyle products presented by participating brands and entrepreneurs, including Tetseo Sisters, A&A Closet, Hooks and Knots, Amini Design, WeWe Collection, Your Kawaii Collection, Handpicked Mix Repeat Vintage, The Look Closet, Nish Designs, Zowe, Native Aura, and Zinyu Craft.

Visitors thronged the venue throughout the three-day event, supporting local businesses and exploring unique homegrown labels that reflected contemporary trends blended with indigenous aesthetics.

Participating entrepreneurs expressed appreciation for the platform created by Kats Collection, stating that such collaborative events continue to encourage small businesses, strengthen community ties, and promote local talent in Nagaland.

Organisers described the annual monsoon sale as more than just a shopping event, emphasising its role in fostering entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for women-led enterprises to connect with wider audiences. The estimated business generated from the event was approximately Rs 5 lakh, they added.
