Five-hour power cut in parts of Dimapur, Niuland on July 2

Dimapur, June 30 (MExN): The Department of Power, Government of Nagaland, will install a new 10 MVA, 66/33 kV power transformer at the 66/33/11 kV Dairy Farm sub-station on July 2, necessitating a five-hour shutdown of two key sub-stations.

According to an official notification from Er S I Asangba Tikhir, Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Dimapur, the shutdown will affect the Dairy Farm and Nito Farm sub-stations from 08:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on the scheduled date.

Power supply will be disrupted for consumers served by six feeders under these sub-stations, including the 11 kV Zani, Darogajan, Shozukhu, Kuhuboto and Vihokhu feeders, as well as the 33 kV Niuland feeder.

The department has acknowledged the inconvenience caused to affected consumers and requested their cooperation during the essential upgrade work.
