Kohima, June 6 (MExN): Public sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) - IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL - on Saturday assured that supplies of petrol, diesel and LPG remain steady and uninterrupted across Nagaland, and urged citizens to avoid panic buying.
The Oil Industry said it remains fully geared to ensure seamless availability of fuels through its supply network of terminals, depots, LPG bottling plants and retail outlets. Fuel dispensing operations are continuing smoothly across all outlets with no restrictions, adhering to prescribed safety and operational norms, an update from PIB Kohima statded.
Adequate stocks of petroleum products are available across the supply chain, with continuous replenishment to meet consumer demand efficiently. LPG supplies to domestic consumers are also progressing normally across the state.
The public sector OMCs are closely coordinating on logistics, stock positioning and distribution planning to ensure uninterrupted energy access. The overall supply situation remains stable and under constant monitoring.
Consumers have been requested to maintain normal purchasing behaviour and rely only on official communications from OMCs for verified information on fuel availability.
