Kohima, September 25 (MExN): The 57th Annual Sports Week of Government Higher Secondary School Pfutsero got underway today with Dr. Kevizakie Rio, Joint Mission Director RMSA Nagaland as the guest speaker in the inaugural programme.
Rio exhorted the gathering to aim for excellence in life. He stated that physical development is very important in education as education is whole round development.
He also reminded the students that there is ample avenues for those who work hard in life.
He told the students to embrace discipline, hard work and dedication to achieve ones dream in life.
Rio appreciated GHSS Pfutsero team for taking many innovative initiative s to lead the schools in Nagaland as an emerging potential school.
Later, he inaugurated Atal Tinkering Lab in the school sponsored by the Niti Ayog Government of Nagaland.
GHSS Pfutsero is the first Government school in Nagaland to avail this facility. Vechikhoyi Lohe, Principal GHSS Pfutsero gave welcome speech, while Kelhikha Kenye, Vice Principal chaired the programme.
The programme was attended by the public leaders, school principals, officers representing different department and teachers of the school.
