The United States of America is back to its original role as the global police man. America thinks that it is the world’s chief-of-police having the responsibility to safeguarding democracy and human rights of the world. America played its role by interfering into the affairs of the world and wherever she saw trampling of democratic norms and violation of basic rights. Has it been successful in its role? By and large, America failed miserably and was forced to withdraw from its role as American administration learnt the lessons in hard ways.
Whoever is the president of America wants to show its military superiority and technological skills wish to establish its supremacy and power in the world. Out of them, President Trump within a year wanting to show to the world that ‘making America great again’, resonating his electioneering rhetoric a proof. Trump deliberately kept aside some the impending issues and the electoral promises, went ahead clearly to show to the world that America is the force to reckon and could go to any extend to prove his point.

Trump says during the operation ‘lights of Caracas were turned off with an application of certain expertise’.

One can see a clear thread to earlier empire building and the current one with one thing different that the entire operation lasted just less than 30-minutes and so other countries in South America are smaller than Venezuela. A clear message to all the countries in South America that “fall in line”, if not, it will be a repeat game. The intent is clear—take control of oil rich country in the world.
Three countries are now vying for monopolising the energy resources and rare minerals that are available in plenty in Africa, South America, and Asia. With their superior air, naval, and ground powers want to annexe the weaker countries. The empire-builders have started their games. There is a possibility of new hegemonic alignments taking place to stop America becoming unipolar global power. America has already declared that it would pursue Munro document in South America which is back again as Americas’ soft power and MAGA as part of white imperialism. Year-2026 would be filled with such sudden and surprising moves. We live in a world where UN conventions and international laws have no relevance and back to the old matrix—'might is right’.
