Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The Chakhesang, Ao, Sumi, Pochury and Tikhir Regions under GPRN/NSCN have reaffirmed endorse the collective leadership of General (Retired) MB Neokpao Konyak and Alezo Venuh.
Following a Joint Council Meeting on April 1, convened in the aftermath of the March 22 incident, the regions, after consultations with their respective authorities and leaders, unanimously passed a resolution to fully endorse their leadership, stated a press release received here.
The meeting unanimously reaffirmed to fully support and endorse the collective leadership of Konyak and Venuh to carry forward the political aspiration of the Naga people under the banner of GPRN/NSCN (Unification) to its logical conclusion, it added.
