DIMAPUR, MARCH 28 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN (Kitovi) has expressed deep sorrow at the untimely passing of Lieutenant Colonel Wopamo, son of late Nkhumo from Old Chungsu Village in Wokha District, on March 28 while carrying out his duties.
In an MIP release, the GPRN/NSCN extended its heartfelt gratitude for his dedicated service and the sacrifices he made during his tenure in the Lotha Region. It also conveyed its deepest condolences to the family of the late officer, acknowledging his significant contributions to the Naga nation as "A Great Son and Patriot."
Lieutenant Colonel Wopamo served the Naga nation with pride and unwavering patriotism since 1990, dedicating 35 years of his life to the cause. His passing leaves a profound void, and his loss will be deeply felt, with his contributions being difficult to replace, the MIP release stated.
