Workers at a railway labour camp in Karbi Anglong had a narrow escape from an alleged grenade attack. The incident occurred at around 8:00 pm near the Rangapahar rail station, located in Karbi Anglong, about 11 km away from the Dimapur railway station, towards Diphu. Police sources said that the explosive failed to detonate. Motive was not yet known and no arrests have been made. The sources said that an FIR has been registered and investigation on. The place of incident falls under Dhansiri Police Outpost, Diphu sub-division.
