Kohima, March 1 (MExN): Henok Buchem, the current Secretary of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB), has been transferred and appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kohima.
The vacancy arose following the transfer of Kumar Ramnikant, who has been posted as Secretary of the Industries & Commerce Department, according to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms on March 1. He has also been assigned the additional charge of State Project Director (PD) for ELEMENT and FOCUS-IFAD.
The previous PD of ELEMENT (Enhancing Landscape and Ecosystem Management Project) and FOCUS-IFAD (Fostering Climate Resilient Upland Farming System — International Fund for Agricultural Development), Shanavas C, has been relieved for central deputation, the notification added.
