Dimapur, June 9 (MExN): Lian Tungnung, a Class XI student of Hollotoli School, has been selected for the Summer Leadership Programme hosted by The Doon School, Dehradun, emerging as the sole participant from the entire Northeast region.
An update issued by Hollotoli School stated that the programme brought together students from across India for a series of leadership activities, group discussions, collaborative projects, and outdoor experiences aimed at enhancing communication skills, teamwork, critical thinking and self-confidence.
During the event, Lian interacted with peers from diverse backgrounds, exchanged ideas, and gained insights into leadership, responsibility, and community living. The experience, he said, encouraged him to embrace new challenges and develop a broader outlook.
Reflecting on the programme, Lian said, “The programme gave me the opportunity to interact with students from different backgrounds, learn new things and grow in confidence. It was both enriching and memorable.”
The Summer Leadership Programme, hosted annually by The Doon School focuses on experiential learning and holistic development among young students.
