KOHIMA, MARCH 26 (MExN): The Home Department has expressed concern over the unsatisfactory attendance in several departments within the Nagaland Civil Secretariat. Despite various efforts to improve attendance, the issue remains unresolved, stated a circular issued by the Home Department issued on March 26.
To address this, it has decided to conduct surprise checks across all departments and branches of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat during office hours, from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated against officials found in violation of attendance policies. Additionally, a "No Work, No Pay" policy will be enforced for officers and staff members who are absent without prior sanctioned leave.
