Services of Santragachi - New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi extended

Guwahati, November 2 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), on November 2, informed that the Agartala- Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVB) - Agartala Humsafar Express will run bi –weekly from November 8. The Express currently runs once a week. 

As per an NFR release, the Humsafar Express (Train No12504) will run every Saturday & Tuesday from Agartala from November 8. The train will depart Agartala at 5:30 AM to reach Bengaluru at 20:15 hours, every Monday and Thursday respectively. 

From Bengaluru, Train No 12503 will run every Tuesday and Friday from 10:15 AM, starting November 11, to reach Agartala at 2:30AM every Friday and Monday respectively.

On both ways, the train will have 21 coaches comprising of 18 AC-3 Tier, 1 AC pantry car & 2 luggage cum generator cum brake van.

Meanwhile, the NFR has also decided to extend services of Santragachi - New Jalpaiguri – Santragachi weekly summer special train to clear the extra rush of passengers for another 4 trips both bays. 

From Santragachi, the train will depart at 6PM every Friday from November 4 till November 25, to reach its destination of New Jalpaiguri at 5:15 AM, the next day. 

Likewise, it will depart from New Jalpaiguri every Saturday from November 5-26 at 12:15 PM to reach Santragachi at 11:45PM, the same day.

The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of the NFR, the release added.
