Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The second day of the 3rd edition of the Late I Pihoto Awomi Inter Club Champions Trophy saw dominant performances from Esa Boys and Whiskers CC, as both teams cruised to comfortable victories.
In the first match, Esa Boys defeated Young Boys 11 by nine wickets, restricting the latter to just a double-digit score and chasing the target with ease.
Earlier, Young Boys 11 were bundled out for 53 runs in 15.3 overs.
Tahmeed was the star of the match, claiming six wickets for Esa Boys and earning the ‘Man of the Match’ honour. The second match witnessed Whiskers CC posting a competitive total of 156/7 in 20 overs, with steady contributions across the batting lineup.
Chasing 157, Dimapur Bulls struggled against Whiskers CC’s bowling attack, managing only 74 runs before being bowled out.
Rajesh Sah’s impressive four-wicket haul earned him the ‘Man of the Match’ title.
