Kohima, July 16 (MExN): Imchen’s Custom Art School celebrated its third foundation day on July 11 at the AG Council Hall, Kohima, with a focus on inclusive art education and skill development for all students, including those with special needs.
Moa Imchen, Proprietor of the school and a 3D Animator & Architectural Designer, acknowledged the turnout of students despite the summer vacation and reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing opportunities for Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
“The school is inclusive and provides opportunities for all students, including Children with Special Needs. We encourage students to explore their talents through arts and help build skills, including problem-solving and self-expression. It is a house of design to try new ideas, embrace mistakes, and turn thoughts into action,” Imchen said.
The art school offers courses in arts, crafts, clay modelling, 3D animation, and basic 3D architectural designs.
Over the years, the institution has organised art competitions for students across various programmes, observed on occasions such as World TB Day, World Music Day, World No Tobacco Day, and World Environment Day.
Students from the Art School across various categories have earned accolades through their participation in inter-school competitions, the proprietor added.
