INTCWS conducts college inspection drive across Southern States

Dimapur, February 1 (MExN): The India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS), Notun Bosti, Dimapur, through its education wing, Libra Consultancy, inspected several leading medical and engineering colleges in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Tamil Nadu as part of its 17th annual activities from January 11 to January 24.

The initiative was undertaken for the welfare and benefit of tribal students seeking admission to professional courses outside the state. Since 2008, the society has been facilitating awareness among students and parents by providing verified information on the status of colleges and universities, including their affiliations, fee structures, courses offered, facilities and other relevant details.

The organisation said the inspections aim to help students make informed decisions regarding their careers and to safeguard them against fraudulent admission practices, which are prevalent in professional education.

INTCWS stated that hundreds of students from the tribal community have benefitted from these awareness and counselling initiatives over the years.

Interested students and parents can avail free counselling services by contacting the INTCWS office or calling 8974655409, the organisation said.
