TUENSANG, NOVEMBER 27 (MExN): The 1st Tuensang District Inter Departmental Badminton and Table-Tennis Championship got underway at Indoor Stadium Tuensang on November 27 with Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, L Jamithung Lotha gracing the opening ceremony.
Appreciating the Officers' Club Tuensang District for organising such events, he urged them to capitalize on the potentiality and talents of the employees. The aim of holding the event is to bring oneness through physical fitness. Altogether 200 players representing 61 different departments are taking part in the two-day tournament.
The opening programme was chaired by Buchu. Invocation prayer was offered by Pastor TTBL, Rev. Sangkup while a special number was presented by Gabriel Chitai.
