Kohima, May 1 (MExN): National Highway-2 will be closed to all vehicular traffic for three hours on Sunday to facilitate recovery of a truck that fell into the Kehorü River. Deputy Commissioner B Henok Buchem issued an order announcing the temporary closure of the highway stretch between Jakhama and Viswema from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on May 3. The closure has been necessitated by an ongoing recovery operation for the ill-fated truck that plunged into the Kehorü River in the said stretch. Commuters have been advised to use the alternative route via Viswema-Kidima-Chakhabama during the closure period to avoid inconvenience.
