The 2nd Edition of the Sports Meet 2025 of the Kohima Chakhesang Students’ Union (KCSU) commenced at D-Khel Ground, Seikhazou, Kohima on September 30.
Dr Tsielhoutuo Rhutso, MLA, Kohima Town Assembly Constituency graced the occasion as the guest speaker. In his speech, Dr Rhutso shared reflections on his childhood life and highlighted the importance of dignity of labor in achieving success. He encouraged the students to prioritize education above all else.
Dode Nakro, PRO to Minister for Power & Parliamentary Affairs in his speech emphasized the need for good sportsmanship and teamwork, while also pointing out that trust- building and resilience are key factors in achieving goals.
Earlier, welcome address and acknowledgement was presided KCSU President Kuwe Mekru. The programme was chaired by Vezito Tetseo while oath-taking ceremony was led by KCSU Games & Sports Secretary Virelu Pohena.
The tournament will continue till October 1.
