Invited as special guest to R-Day celebrations
Kiphire, January 24 (MExN): The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) of Saramati View Modern School, Kiphire, has received an exclusive invitation to attend the 77th Republic Day celebration as a special guest, being among the 26 ATLs from Nagaland selected for the honour.
The team attending the event comprises Thrijungla A Jingru and Itsa S Sangtam, both Class 9 ATL students, along with the ATL teacher-in-charge and another teacher.
Only 50 best-performing ATLs from across the country, out of a total of about 10,000 ATLs, have received the invitation.
As part of the official itinerary beginning January 24, the invitees will visit Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya, Rashtrapati Bhavan and the National Science Centre. The programme also includes a high tea with the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr Jitendra Singh.
The highlight of the visit will be witnessing the 77th Republic Day Parade in the august presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
