Kohima, November 19 (MExN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) today informed that the fixture for the forthcoming 6th open Kohima district volleyball championship 2018 will be drawn on November 20 at 3:00 at Kohima Local Ground. All the team representatives have been asked to be there.
The KDVA tournament officials have also been informed to join social work at Kohima Local Ground at 9:00 AM on November 20.
Last year’s winner and runner-up have been requested to return the running trophy.
The tournament will take place from November 22 to 26 at Kohima Local Ground, Khuochiezie.
The champion in men category will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 35,000 while the runner- up will receive Rs. 25,000.
Losing semi finalists will receive Rs. 5000 each.
In women’s category, the champion will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 while the runner-up will get Rs. 15,000. Losing semi finalists will get Rs. 5000 each.
Individual prizes for best spiker and best setter in both men and women category will get Rs. 2000 each.
