Morung United advanced to the semifinals of the Lobenkokba Memorial Morning Champions Cup 2025 after defeating Mustang FC 2–0 in a penalty shootout at the Indira Gandhi Stadium here on Tuesday.
The quarterfinal match ended in a 3–3 draw in regulation time. Ruokuo, Khrietuo and Zevituo scored a goal each for Mustang FC, while Aren struck twice and Silvi added another for Morung United.
In the ensuing shootout, Morung United held their nerve to seal the victory and book a place in the last four.
