DIMAPUR, MARCH 26 (MExN): MGM College organized a campus recruitment drive as part of its ongoing efforts to support students' career development. The event, coordinated by the college's Training, Placement, and Career Guidance Cell, aimed to provide final-year students with opportunities to transition from academic life to the professional world.
A press release informed that the drive attracted participation from 6th-semester students, faculty members, and representatives from the Goan Institute International Consociation of Education (GICE). The event began with a formal welcome address, followed by a detailed session led by Yaden, a representative from GICE. She provided students with key information about various job roles, qualifications, expectations, and career paths.
Yaden also explained important aspects of the recruitment process, including job designations, work responsibilities, employment types, qualifications, candidate profiles, job locations, joining dates and salary packages. In addition, she outlined the interview process, giving students insights into how to approach job applications and interviews.
The recruitment drive offered students an opportunity to gain industry exposure and directly engage with potential employers. MGM College aims to support students in building their careers and enhancing their employability as they prepare for life after graduation, the press release maintained.
